The Work

Our Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support architecture, design, concept of operations, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high‑performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform concept of operations design, radar behavior definition, and associated requirements development to drive radar capability implementation across radar subsystems.
  • Successfully collaborate with subsystem teams to define clear, executable, and testable approaches for meeting mission success criteria.
  • Conduct trade studies and analyze the radar system‑level performance impacts to support and evaluate design decisions.
  • Develop and present detailed design documentation.
  • Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multi‑disciplinary teams on significant technical matters.
  • Apply strong analytical and communication skills in a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary environment.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent degree combined with 5 years of related experience, OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • Functional knowledge of radar systems and subsystems.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: system analysis, architecture, requirements development, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.
  • High proficiency in C++, MATLAB or Python.
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret‑level clearance.
Desired Skills
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
  • Radar systems development experience including signal processing, antenna patterns, detection/tracking/discrimination algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulation.
  • Experience leading technical teams and collaborating across multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti‑Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts and design considerations.
  • Active DoD Secret‑level clearance or higher.
