Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Assist Store Manager in managing the Perishable Departments (produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, dairy, frozen foods, bread, and bakery items).;
Maintain correct perishable stock levels and use planning tools to optimize inventory.;
Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing standards, and safe handling of perishable products.;
Record perishable mark downs and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.;
Ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and maintain sanitation standards in Perishable departments.
