PACU Registered Nurse (RN) position in Easton, PA — 13-week local contract (W2). Seeking an experienced PACU/GI/perioperative nurse for intraoperative, pre-op, and post-op care with float to the Ambulatory Procedure Unit (APU). • Setting: GI Nurse role (intraoperative, preoperative, postoperative) with float to Ambulatory Procedure Unit (APU)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–5:00pm
• Hours: 4 x 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• On-Call: 2 nights/week (5:00pm–9:00pm), 1 weekend/month (7:00am–5:00pm)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• Employment Type: Local Contract (W2)
• Hourly Pay Rate: $76.26
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,050–$2,150

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (PA)
• Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience in PACU, GI, or perioperative nursing (post-anesthesia care / recovery room)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in intraoperative, preoperative, and postoperative phases (PACU / post-anesthesia care)
• Float to the Ambulatory Procedure Unit (APU) to support pre- and post-op workflows as needed
• Monitor patient recovery, assess clinical status, and respond promptly to changes
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education on procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage and unit-based teamwork
