Position: Registered Nurse School Setting in Easton, PA
A school district in the Palmerton, PA area is seeking substitute nurses for the  school year to provide essential health support in local schools including Parryville, Bowmanstown, Apps, and Cherryville, as well as surrounding areas. This per diem opportunity is ideal for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurses (RN) with school health experience, who can step in when the primary school nurse or health room technician is unavailable.

Location: Palmerton area, Pennsylvania
Job Type: Contract / Per Diem

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to students during the school day in the absence of the regular school nurse or health tech
• Administer medications, treatments, and basic first aid as required
• Document health records accurately and communicate health concerns appropriately
• Assist in health screenings and emergency response as needed
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and healthy environment for students and staff

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN/LVN or RN license with current state certification
• Previous experience in a school health setting preferred
• Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependability to fill in on short notice when regular nursing staff are unavailable
