Assistant Professor of Sociology

The Department of Anthropology and Sociology at Lafayette College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position in sociology to begin in July 2026. We seek candidates with innovative research and teaching interests in areas not currently covered in the department, with a preference for Asia/Asian America, sexualities, disabilities and the body, family, education, and/or labor and with research and teaching competencies in research methods and other areas that will enhance the department while strengthening our contributions to key interdisciplinary programs on campus.
