RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

4x10 Days (07:00 - 17:30) with one scheduled late shift per week from 10:00 - 20:30 to accommodate cases that run over.

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing various cardiac procedures. The nurse will work within a two-room cath lab, supporting a daily average of 7-14 cases.

• Assist in various cardiac procedures including Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Pacemaker insertion, and Cardioversions.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and manage patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide on-call support as scheduled, ensuring availability within a 30-minute arrival time of the facility.
• Float to pre-op/PACU within the unit/specialty as needed.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiac Cath lab setting is required.
• Current RN license in the state of Maryland or Compact License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; CPI certification is needed on-site during orientation.
• Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
• Preferred:
  Previous charge experience and community hospital experience.
