Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a Maryland or Compact RN license, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.

Job Details

• ICU setting with 10 beds and an average daily census of 8 patients,

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, up to 1:3 with low acuity patients (rare),

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),

• Every other weekend required,

• Holiday coverage required as scheduled,

• Floating required within specialty, to lower acuity units, and to sister facilities as needed,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• 10-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required,

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),

• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience required,

• Strong critical care skills required,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers with strong critical care experience and skills will be considered,

• Royal blue scrubs required,

• Any time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration,
