MainResponsibilities
- Position:
Deli Assistant Manager - Must be available to work 5 nights per week. Positions all team members may apply to be considered.
- Enhance department top line and bottom line potential by building relationships with team members and guests through effective leadership.
- Be available to work within the hours directed by the store director to serve guests during peak business periods and within the schedules of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Embrace and lead guest satisfaction at all times; review behavior observations to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Enhance a selling culture through effective team engagement and displaymanship.
- Utilize business transformation tools to optimize ordering, receiving, production, and selling processes to reach true potential.
- Maintain Acme fresh standards through proper product handling, rotation, dating, and refrigeration of products.
- Develop and sustain a safe and clean department aligned with Acme environmental standards.
- Ensure scales and weights are correct; maintain tag integrity and signage.
- Effectively assign work schedules and tasks to team members; provide coaching and feedback to improve performance and accountability.
- Collaborate with and support other team members; perform other duties as assigned by the store manager.
- Embrace effective scheduling; completed training in “dominant guest satisfaction”.
- Maximize use of business transformation tools with sound knowledge of financials; demonstrated high performance in previous assignments with regard to financial performance.
- Completed all food safety and general department safety training; able to coach team members as needed. PIT certified.
- Be able to work at any location in the district.

Pay $20.50/hourly
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include healthcare, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
