Hours:
3.5 hours per day - 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday-Friday when school is in session for students. 180 days in the school year.
Start date:
August 28, 2024.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma
* Experience working with young children
* Ability to work well with students and staff
* Good organizational and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility
* Sense of humor
Salary/Benefits:
In accordance with the non-certified staff collective bargaining agreement. Starting salary in $15.97/hou to $19.97/hour range. No benefits.
Responsibilities:
* With the assistance of another staff member, supervise approximately 100 students at a time while they are having their lunches and socializing with their peers
* Helps to maintain an environment where students respect themselves, others, and their environment
* Handle situations as they may arise in a calm and reassuring manner
* Assist students in opening their lunch containers
