Customer Service Representative

Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries. With strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start‑to‑finish solution from NDT and chemical processing to paint and sub‑assembly.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who coordinates and expedites work flows within or between departments to ensure timely, accurate delivery of customer orders while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Review the MRP system to ensure customer order due dates are in line with required delivery dates.
  • Verify customer purchase orders against internal work orders to ensure compliance with process requirements.
  • Provide continuous updates to customers on the status of their orders within an allotted four‑hour timeframe.
  • Communicate with customers regarding blueprints, drawings, or other items needed for processing.
  • Coordinate with production to obtain estimated completion dates (ECDs) for orders.
  • Prepare orders in the ship‑out area or other required locations.
  • Develop daily reports on orders and communicate with production.
  • Other duties as assigned.
