Position: Freight Coordinator - Multi-Modal Operations

Location: Chandlers Ford

Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week

As the company enters an exciting phase of growth through 2025 and beyond, they are now seeking a Freight Coordinator to join their close‑knit operations team in nais Chandlers Ford.

• Coordinate multi-modal freight operations including road, air, and sea for import and export consignments.
• Manage European road freight movements and time‑critical courier shipments.
• Oversee shipments from booking through to final delivery, ensuring full operational visibility.
• Provide outstanding customer service, maintaining clear and proactive communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Prepare and issue freight quotations, rates, and service options.
• Produce and manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and Letters of Credit where required.
• Complete customs documentation and ensure compliance with import/export procedures.

• Experience with in the UK freight, transport, or logistics sector (road freight, courier, or multi‑modal experience preferred).
• A strong understanding of operational freight processes and documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Confident communicator with a customer‑focused mindset. Typ=df>uble.
• Experience with hazardous or dangerous goods is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
