Contract:

Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £26 per hour

Hours:

40 hours per week

About the Role
Are you pro-active, highly motivated, professional, and friendly? We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our team, delivering high-quality electrical services across the South region.
You will play a key role in carrying out responsive and emergency electrical repairs within customers’ homes, working independently and aiming for first-time fixes wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities
Responsive and emergency electrical repairs
Fault diagnosis and rectification
Replacing damaged electrical accessories
Partial rewires
Distribution board upgrades
Circuit and heating system fault-finding
Completing work to a high standard on a first-time fix basis
On-Call Rota
Participation in an on-call rota approximately once every six weeks
Rota runs Thursday to Thursday
Standby allowance provided
Additional payment for each completed call-out (on top of basic pay)

Essential Requirements
18th Edition qualification (up to date)
Proven experience as an Electrician
Strong fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently
Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience
Experience working within social housing
Experience using NICEIC certification or similar electrical certification software

All required PPEYou will be expected to supply your own hand tools and power tools.
