Location: Southampton, Portsmouth

The RoleAn established, national food and non-food catering supplier is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its commercial team. The role requires a blend of new business development and key account management
, with a strong focus on growing existing customers while identifying and converting new opportunities within the territory.
Covering the South West, you will operate within a structured call cycle, attending multiple customer meetings per day. You’ll act as a one-stop food service partner to consortium groups, with end users across education, healthcare, and hospitality
. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys both winning new business and developing long‑term customer relationships.
- Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of high‑value key accounts
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing and target accounts
- Build strong relationships with consortium groups and key stakeholders
- Lead and support bids and tenders for mid‑market customers
- Deliver sustainable revenue growth through structured sales activity

Candidate Profile- Proven background in new business development and key account management
- Field sales experience within food service preferred; alternatively sales into HORECA
- Strong new business and account management experience
- Ideally based in or around Bristol or Exeter
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
- Basic Salary: £39,000 – £43,000
- Bonus: Up to £15,000
- Car Allowance: £6,500 or company car
