Business Development Manager – Commercial Renewable Sales

Role: Business Development Manager – Renewable Sales

Salary: £43,400 basic with £70K OTE and a car allowance

Location: National – Nationwide travel required

Are you a sales leader with a strong knowledge of solar products and proven success in driving growth across the renewables sector? Do you have the experience, credibility, and commercial understanding to close major deals in the solar and renewable energy markets? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

As our BDM, you will drive new business and partnerships for Utilita’s portfolio by engaging your network, sourcing new customers, negotiating and closing solar deals. You will bring our renewables products to life by tailoring your approach to every interaction and build strategic relationships that can deliver measurable revenue. Your goal is to scale up our portfolio, which will allow you to be at the front of all customer interactions, including engaging with local authorities, identifying small and large scale commercial opportunities, and representing Utilita at industry events.

Qualifications

We are looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager with proven expertise in solar products and renewable energy sales. You will bring your own network of commercial clients and have the ability to generate new business opportunities to accelerate Utilita’s commercial growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record selling solar and renewable energy solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of solar products and the renewables sector.
  • Network of commercial clients and ability to generate new business opportunities.
  • Ability to negotiate and close large-scale deals.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to pass a security vetting process.
