Forklift Operative- Quality Control

Our client based in Eastleigh are a global building materials company and the largest global manufacturer of fibre cement products. They are looking for an Operative with a Forklift License, based in their large warehouse that will be responsible for Quality Control, and Goods In.

Technical Requirements to include:

Completed training or proven experience, ideally in logistics, warehouse operations, or quality assurance.
Experience or knowledge of quality control: e.g., incoming goods inspection, visual checks, dimensional checks
Computer skills would be an advantage: working with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS) and MS Office
Skills in documenting and reporting quality deviations.
Forklift license

Personal Requirements to include:

Attention to detail and accuracy when inspecting goods
Sense of responsibility and reliability
Teamwork skills, but also the ability to work independently
Resilience, especially during high-volume periods
Willingness to work shifts, if required

Interviews to take place ideally in October and position to start in November. You will be working Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00 and the position is for 6 to 9 months with a high chance of permanent for the right candidate.
