Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic team at Shield Vets on a full-time or part-time basis.

Find a place to excel. Our practices are situated between Southampton and Portsmouth, with easy train access to London. We have both the New Forest National Park and the South Downs National Park on our doorsteps as well as access to the sea. This is a great opportunity for a like-minded individual to join our close-knit group, who put pet care at the centre of everything they do.

This role will entail all standard vet responsibilities including surgery and consults. The role will mainly be based at our Bishops Waltham branch, with the occasional shift at our Hedge End branch.

This is a full or part time position. Our typical shifts are 8am-6pm and 9am-7pm. With full-time having a fixed day off a week. Saturday mornings are on a 1 in 4 rota.

Our practice is well-equipped with fantastic facilities including dental x-ray, dental machine, digital x-ray machine, separate cat/dog waiting areas, a theatre and prep area, 2 consult rooms, multi parameters machine, ultrasound and idexx lab equipment.
