Lead Chiller Engineer; Static​/Depot

Position: Lead Chiller Engineer (Static/Depot-based) (Permanent)

We are working with a well-established temperature control and chiller hire specialist, who are looking to recruit an experienced Lead Chiller Engineer to join a busy operation at their depot in Hampshire.

This is a key depot-based role, taking responsibility for the reliability, repair and performance of a modern fleet of hire chillers and refrigeration equipment.

Package

* Basic salary of up to 45K (37.5 hour week)

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

* Responsibility for both minor and major chiller repairs including fault finding, compressor changes, refrigeration circuit leak testing and repair, component replacement and warranty work.

* Leading by example within the workshop, setting standards for quality, organisation and technical excellence.

* Maintain accurate service records, parts usage and technical documentation

* Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers within the workshop

* Ensure full compliance with F-Gas and health & safety regulations

Requirements

* NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (desired but not essential)

* F-Gas Category 1

* Strong experience working on chillers and refrigeration systems

* Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
