Planning Solicitor (3+ PQE) - Hybrid Working

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a planning and environment solicitor to join the team at the Southampton office of this leading Legal 100 firm.

We are working with a leading national law firm seeking an experienced Planning Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its respected Planning and Real Estate team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with strong planning and development experience to work with a diverse, high-quality client base, including major residential and mixed-use developers, retailers, investors, funders, local authorities and government bodies.

The Role:

• Advising on all aspects of planning law and development matters
• Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements
• Managing planning due diligence for real estate and corporate deals
• Advising on EIA, CIL, GLA planning, Village Greens and Assets of Community Value
• Supporting clients with appeals, judicial reviews, enforcement and highways issues

The Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in planning law
• Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and development processes
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Keen to get involved in business development and grow within a supportive national team
