An exciting opportunity has arisen for Site Officer to join the Facilities Management Team. The position is based at Eastleigh House, Eastleigh and is a flexible role working across several Council operational and investment buildings within the borough of Eastleigh.
The RoleThis role is varied and as a member of the Site Officer Team duties will include delivery of in-house planned and reactive maintenance, contractor management, locking/unlocking buildings, portering and post duties.
The role is a full-time 37 hour week position working 7:00am-7.00pm Monday to Friday (rota plan). This role will be required to cover evening Council meetings, held in Eastleigh House which vary in length up to 10:00pm – the start time will adjust accordingly. Occasional shift changes could include paid weekend working and cover for other team members which operate between 7:00am – 7:00pm Monday to Friday.

The person we are looking for will be a good communicator, basic experience in building maintenance skills, the ability to identify faults and implement repairs, experience working with contractors and customers, flexible, proactive, and self-motivated. Full training in specialist areas will be provided. You must also hold a full clean driving licence and will have access to use Council electric vehicles.
