The Role:

We’re looking for a hands‑on Electronics Engineer who loves solving complex problems and bringing ambitious technology to life. You’ll be central to designing, prototyping, and optimising advanced electronics for cold atom and quantum systems.

• Collaborate with scientists & engineers to define system requirements for quantum technologies.

• Design, develop & test low‑noise analog and digital circuits.

• Implement control and data acquisition systems for cutting‑edge experiments.

• Debug & optimise complex electronic hardware for reliable performance.

• Integrate and test next‑generation quantum devices.

• Continuously improve hardware & software solutions.

• BSc/MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (PhD or Systems Engineering background is a plus).

• 3+ years’ experience in electronics design and prototyping for high‑performance systems.

• Strong skills in analog & digital circuit design, PCB layout, and prototyping.

• Experience with GHz RF circuits highly desirable.

• Background in cold atom, FPGA, or quantum technologies (atomic clocks, sensors, computing) is a big advantage.

• Proficiency with relevant programming languages & design tools.

• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
