About the Role

We are seeking a Physics Teacher to deliver high‑quality lessons up to A‑Level within a successful and well‑resourced Science Department.
This is a full‑time position starting immediately, running until at least Easter 2026, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities include:

Teaching Physics across KS5 (and KS4 if required), delivering both theoretical and practical lessons
Planning well‑structured, challenging lessons aligned with the A‑Level curriculum
Monitoring student progress and delivering effective feedback
Supporting learners in achieving aspirational academic outcomes
Working collaboratively with departmental colleagues and contributing to wider college initiatives
Creating an inclusive, engaging classroom environment that fosters curiosity and achievement

Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher with UK QTS (or working towards QTS)
Experience teaching A‑Level Physics or strong KS4 Physics experience with willingness to teach Sixth Form
Excellent subject knowledge and passion for Physics
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Committed to safeguarding and maintaining high standards
Enthusiastic, supportive, and dedicated to helping students achieve their goals
