Description:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team on a freelance basis for a commercial construction project in Southampton. The project has approximately six months remaining, so we are looking for an Assistant Site Manager who can quickly integrate and help drive the final stages to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Site Manager in day-to-day operations on site

* Assist with project planning, coordination, and reporting

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors

* Monitor quality and progress of work

Requirements:

* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualified

* CSCS card holder

* First Aid certification

* Proven experience in commercial construction projects

* Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment

* Available immediately for the remaining project duration
