- Responsible for developing and improving the manufacturing process for assembly and CNC machining operations
- Will look at capitol and automation projects and opportunities for process improvements
- Will spearhead cost reduction programs for material selection and supplier selection to reduce overall cost of products
- Design, evaluate, and implement automated and semi-automated manufacturing processes, including robotic systems, to improve efficiency, quality, repeatability, and throughput.
- Collaborate on the specification, integration, and optimization of robotics, automation equipment, and control systems within manufacturing cells, including validation during initial builds and production ramp-up.
- Analyze opportunities for automation in machining, assembly, inspection, and material handling, developing cost-benefit analyses and implementation plans.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing automation and robotics
, including automated assembly, machining, inspection, or material handling systems. - Experience supporting or leading automation projects
, from concept and vendor selection through installation, validation, and production launch. - Must have 2+ years of experience
- Cost savings projects experience is required
- Previous assembly experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required
- Company has over 30 years of industry experience
