Overview
Automation & Robotics Instructor
Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools
Start Date:
August 17, 2026
Must be able to attend required trainings (including summer)
- Design and deliver engaging instruction in automation and robotics-related courses
- Develop curriculum aligned to workforce needs, state standards, and student interests
- Collaborate with an institute of higher education to serve as a College Credit Plus (CCP) instructor
- Build and maintain strong industry partnerships
- Establish and facilitate a Program Advisory Committee
- Work closely with school and district staff to ensure a high-quality, future-ready program
- Engineering Logic (Subject Code: 175017)
- Manufacturing Operations (Subject Code: 175003)
- Industrial Robotics (Subject Code: 176025)
- Automation Technologies (Subject Code: TBD)
- Minimum of 5 years of documented, relevant industry experience (CTE requirement)
- Willingness to work with an institute of higher education to become a CCP instructor
- Appropriate teaching license or the ability to obtain one through the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce Development
