About This Role

To support our growth, we are seeking a Backend Software Engineer based in Portugal to join the Out Systems R&D. You’ll be a member of the Analytics Services team, which is part of a group of teams responsible for developing the Out Systems platform.

• Contribute to Design and Development:
  Implement new features and solutions following standard software development best practices.

  Write and maintain automated tests to guarantee code quality and product reliability.

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object‑Oriented Design.
• Coding skills in C# .NET, Java and Go.
• Knowledge of relational & non‑relational databases (e.g.: Aurora, Dynamo
  
  DB, Redis).
• Knowledge of cloud systems (e.g.: AWS, Azure).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
• Availability to be part of the 24x7 on‑call rotation.
