Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – East Kilbride – £42,000

East Kilbride, Glasgow G74

Salary: up to £42,000 per annum

Shifts:

Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Plumber to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large multi‑tenanted site in East Kilbride. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems within a modern commercial environment.

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and building services equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Fault‑finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Work alongside electrical and building services teams as part of a multi‑skilled maintenance operation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

• Level 2 Mechanical or Plumbing certificate.
• Proven experience in a commercial or critical building environment.
• Excellent fault‑finding skills and the ability to work independently on shift.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Up to £42,000 per annum.
