Sales Engineer
Sales Engineer – Climate Control London & South East £50,000 – £60,000 Basic + Exceptional Quarterly Bonus + Company Car This is a senior, revenue-driving role for a proven Climate Control Sales Engineer who knows how to win work, grow accounts and sell technically credible solutions.
You’ll be responsible for developing business across London and the South East, focusing on temporary and engineered climate control solutions including heating, cooling, chillers, air conditioning and ventilation.
This is not a junior role and not a product-only sales position. You’ll be expected to engage technically, influence decision-makers and deliver consistent commercial results.
- 50/50 split between new business development and account management
- Selling climate control hire solutions into construction, industrial, commercial and critical environments
- Managing opportunities from initial site visit through to solution design and close
- Developing long-term client relationships and repeat revenue
- Working closely with operations and engineering teams to deliver on promises
- Owning your territory and forecast – no hand-holding
- £50,000 – £60,000 basic salary

- Proven sales experience in climate control (HVAC, heating, cooling, chillers, air conditioning)
- Background in engineered solutions hire or rental
- Strong technical understanding – able to specify and justify solutions
- Track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts
- Comfortable selling into fast-paced, demanding environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Established, well-resourced business with national capability
- High-value solutions, not commodity sales
- Clear territory, strong earning potential, serious autonomy
