We are supporting a leading building services provider in the appointment of an Electrical Manager to take the lead on a large, complex healthcare facility in East Kilbride. This is a secure, long-term contract and a pivotal technical role on site.

This opportunity would suit a technically strong Electrical Engineer or Supervisor looking to step into a senior, site-based leadership position within a critical environment.

Role

You will act as the senior electrical authority across the site, overseeing all electrical maintenance and project activity while ensuring full compliance with healthcare regulations and HTM standards.
Although this is not a direct line management role, you will lead the electrical function on site, guiding engineers, coordinating contractors, and acting as the primary electrical point of contact for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all electrical systems across LV and HV infrastructure
• Lead BAU maintenance delivery and technical fault resolution
• Act as the site Authorised Person (LV & HV)
• Oversee electrical shutdowns, FWT and minor project works
• Ensure full compliance with HTM standards and statutory regulations
• Operate as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor
• Support supervisors and engineers with technical escalation
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings as the electrical lead

What We're Looking For

• Strong electrical background
• Fully electrically qualified
• 18th Edition
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
• LV & HV Authorised Person status
• Full UK driving licence

Engineers or Supervisors with the right level of technical competence and healthcare exposure are encouraged to apply.

The Package

• £55,000 - £65,000 basic salary
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
