Industrial Sewing Machinist

• Job type: Temporary with an opportunity to go Permanent
• Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4:30pm Friday 7am - 11am

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our clients leading bespoke textile manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a range of sewing machines and different fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing a variety of fabric products from samples or drawings
• Working individually or alongside a team depending on the size and complexity of orders.
• Producing great quality, accurate work.
• Support the Design and Sales teams with technical input regarding design and timescales.
• Proactively raising potential improvements within the business

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an industrial sewer or in a similar sewing role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical drawings.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
• Hourly rate dependant on experience and skill level
