Caretaker Wanted - Join Our Primary School Community!

Location: Brighton

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

Salary: £14 - £20 per hour based on experience

Seeking a reliable, proactive, and friendly School Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

• Ensure the school premises are clean, secure, and well-maintained

• Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks

• Support with setting up rooms for school events and activities

• Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems

• Liaise with contractors and report any major issues

• Promote health and safety across the site

• Practical, hands-on, and solution-focused

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and time management skills

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

• Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
