Overview
We are keen to attract Clinical Care Navigators who are looking for new challenges and opportunities. This post will support the GP service in the Urgent Treatment Centre based in Emergency Care. The service is extremely busy; you'll be exposed to caring for different groups of patients and may be required to assist Accident and Emergency Department.
Responsibilities- Act as front line Clinical/Clerical support, supporting the patient journey through the Urgent Treatment Centre.
- Experience as Clinical Support Worker; hospital experience desirable but not essential.
- GCSE English and Maths grade C/4 or Functional skills in English/Maths.
Successful applicants will be required to complete an Induction course, including Trust statutory/Mandatory training. You will join our team inviting them to share knowledge and experience with the ward; you will need to be well motivated and committed to high standards of patient care and personal professional development.
Skills and teamworkYou must be able to work as part of a team, use your own initiative with effective interpersonal and communication skills, contributing fully as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision on the unit and are committed to the professional development of all staff. Team working is an integral part of this unit with all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patient.
