We are keen to attract Clinical Care Navigator who are looking for new challenges and opportunities This post will support the G.P service in the Urgent Treatment Centre based in Emergency Care are extremely busy; you'll be exposed to caring for different groups of patients and may be required to assist Accident and Emergency Department.
We are looking for experienced Clinical Support Workers, hospital experience is desirable but not essential. A minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths You will be required to act as front line Clinical/Clerical support, supporting the patient journey through the Urgent Treatment Centre.
Successful applicants will be required to complete an Induction course, which will include all the Trust statutory/Mandatory training to join our team inviting them to share their knowledge and experience with the ward; you will need to be well motivated and committed to high standards of patient care and personal professional development.
You must be able to work as part of a team, use your own initiative with effective interpersonal and communication skills, contributing fully as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision on the unit and are committed to the professional development of all staff. Team working is an integral part of this unit with all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patient.

Person Specification Qualifications- Good level of general education including Maths and English
- European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent IT literacy levels
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in relevant subject or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Experience of hospital/ward work
- Experience of working with the public
- Experience of working in a caring environment
- Experience of working in an Emergency Department
- Ability to communicate clearly, sensitively and effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to maintain a calm and sensitive approach when dealing with people in distress
- Able to present and communicate information when there are barriers to understanding
- Understand and use common healthcare terminology
- Experience of IT systems, Nerve centre, EMIS, Esearcher, PACS, ECDS
- Ability to undertake safe minimal handling of patients (willingness to learn)
- Flexibility/adaptability to be able to work 24-hr shift pattern
