Pay Rate

£12.21 – £13.00 per hour

Role Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your duties will include:

* Providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a supported or care setting

* Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care where required

* Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing

* Supporting individuals with emotional, behavioural, or additional needs

* Encouraging engagement in activities and routines

* Following care plans and risk assessments

* Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns

* Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

* Previous experience working in a support worker, care, or similar role (professional experience preferred)

* A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

* A good understanding of safeguarding and duty of care

* A caring, patient, and professional approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts

Desirable Experience & Training

The following is beneficial but not essential:

* Experience supporting vulnerable adults or children

* Training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Manual Handling, or Medication Administration

* Experience with learning disabilities, mental health, autism, or challenging behaviour
