We are looking for two kind, reliable, and positive Personal Assistants to support a 44-year-old woman with Muscular Dystrophy and respiratory failure. These roles are about helping her live life to the fullest, with the right balance of care, companionship, and practical support.
The ideal people will be understanding, patient, and happy to go with the flow. A cheerful, can‑do attitude and a genuine interest in helping someone maintain independence and enjoy daily life are essential.
PositionsFirst position: Monday and Friday mornings (9:30 am–12:00 pm) – help with her morning routine. This may include supporting her to get dressed or showered, doing some housework, and running errands outside the house. It’s important that you enjoy housework and take pride in those finishing touches that make a home feel clean, tidy, and cared for.
Second position: Weekday evenings (Monday to Friday, 6:45 pm–7:45 pm) – assist with the evening routine and getting into bed. This involves using a ceiling hoist, so someone confident or willing to learn how to use this equipment is ideal.
