Technical Estimator – HVAC / Ventilation
Ideal for a Duct Fitter or Ventilation Engineer looking to move off the tools

Looking to step away from site work and move into a technical office role? This could be the ideal next move.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of HVAC and ventilation products. Due to continued growth and demand, they are looking to bring in a Technical Estimator to join their team.

This role would particularly suit someone currently working as a Duct Fitter, Ventilation Engineer, or HVAC Installer who has strong technical knowledge and is interested in developing a career in estimating.

You’ll work on projects across sectors including data centres, commercial offices, healthcare and retail, providing technical quotations and support based on project drawings and specifications.

Full training and support will be provided to help you transition from site into an estimating role.

Package

* Office-based role in Eastbourne

* Salary around £40,000 depending on experience (negotiable for the right person)

* Clear progression path with potential to move into an Engineering Manager role

* 25 days holiday

The Role

* Reviewing project drawings and specifications

* Producing quotations for HVAC and ventilation products

* Liaising with contractors, consultants and project teams

* Providing technical advice on product selection and system solutions

Requirements

* Experience working with HVAC, ventilation or ductwork systems

* Background as a Duct Fitter, Ventilation Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or similar

* Ability to read and understand engineering or construction drawings

* Good communication skills and confidence speaking with clients and consultants

* Interest in developing a long-term career in estimating or engineering
