Service Engineer

YT Technologies are working on behalf of our client in Brighton on the lookout for a service engineer to support, install and repair electro-mechanical equipment for customers across the UK and internationally. A UK driving license is essential.

Key Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support via phone, email and site visits Diagnose, repair and service instruments within agreed turnaround times Install systems and deliver customer training Maintain accurate service reports and customer records Assist with product testing and occasional instrument builds Promote service contracts and parts Travel within the UK and overseas as required Requirements Proven experience in an electro-mechanical environment HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline Strong practical skills: fault-finding, wiring, soldering, use of test tools Ability to interpret technical drawings Good communication and customer-facing skills Computer literate (MS Office) Full UK driving licence and valid passport Able to lift and handle equipment when required Experience using hand tools Ability to fit complex systems Ability to prepare cables, fit sleeve and solder and or crimp joints.
