Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant:

Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to help them achieve the best possible outcomes
Working closely with teaching staff to adapt and deliver learning activities
Providing support with personal care, medical needs, and moving & handling (training provided if needed)
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Supporting assessments and exams when needed

Experience in a SEND or specialist school environment
A calm, confident, and flexible approach
Someone who can bring consistency and compassion to every day
Willingness to be hands-on and proactive across a range of responsibilities
A genuine passion for improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs
