An established civil engineering and highways contractor is recruiting a Site Agent to manage a local authority project valued at circa £2m on behalf of the local authority. The business offers a pipeline of work in the South East and the opportunity to progress within the business.

This role requires a site agent to manage costs, quality and programme whilst maintaining a positive relationship with the client. The contractor has a large directly employed workforce, therefore experience of self-delivery projects is favourable.

Duties will include:

* Writing risk assessments and method statements

* Working with the commercial team to manage change and EWN

* Overall responsibility of health and safety

* Managing design and quality of the project

* Ensuring the project meets deadlines by managing the programme

Suitale candidate are required to hold current CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid as a minimum expectation.
