Inglewood Nursing Home, located in a pleasant residential area of Eastbourne, provides short and long-term nursing and palliative care for up to 60 residents. Set in charming period-style accommodation with modern facilities, the home offers bright, comfortable rooms with garden views, wheelchair access, and a warm, supportive environment where personalised care and strong relationships with residents and families are prioritised.
We’re looking for a talented Admin Assistant to join our team and play a pivotal role in our day-to-day operations. If you’re excited by the prospect of handling various administrative tasks and contributing to a dynamic work environment, this role is for you!

- Payroll and Contracts:
Manage employee payroll data and contracts with accuracy and confidentiality. - Schedule Master:
Assist in arranging and coordinating staffing schedules to ensure smooth operations. - Frontline Communication:
Handle telephone inquiries with professionalism and a friendly demeanour. - Update and Inform:
Keep notice boards up to date with relevant information and announcements. - Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with the operational team to ensure that tasks and repairs are completed efficiently. - Meeting Minutes:
Take detailed notes during meetings to capture key points and action items. - Office Duties:
Perform general office tasks to support daily operations and keep everything running smoothly.
- Qualifications:
GCSE English Language is essential. - Tech Savvy:
Proficient in spreadsheets, Microsoft Word/Works, Excel, Access, and email communications. - Commitment: A strong dedication to equal opportunities and inclusivity within our company.
