About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Property Management company as a full-time Senior Accounts Assistant. This is a fast-paced and engaging role within a professional and friendly environment, offering significant opportunities for career progression.
We are seeking a bright, ambitious, and confident individual to join the accounting team and support the business and management team with a range of accounts and administrative duties.
The role plays a crucial part in the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed. The successful candidate will manage invoices, maintain financial records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounts department. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, Journals, VAT, Bank Reconciliation
* Arrears administration
* Budgeting & reporting
* Updating Xero accounts
* Providing administration support to the team
* Administration tasks and communication with internal departments
* Maintaining records using Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
* Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams
Skills & Requirements
* AAT Level 4 qualification
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Experience using Xero and Microsoft Excel in a similar role
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Previous experience in accounts within property management is essential
* Must be able to reliably commute to the office
