Then join us at one of our recruitment events to find out about our variety of exciting opportunities. You will have the chance to speak to many different specialities about their roles and hear how we will support you as you transition from student to Registered Nurse.

Please note this event/role is NOT suitable for internationally trained nurses who are required to complete OSCE.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise appropriately with all key members of the multi‑disciplinary team and service users related to the speciality.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of patient care including the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of direct patient care with indirect supervision from senior staff.
  • Support the Charge Nurse/Senior Sister to monitor the safety and quality of care for patients.
  • Be responsible for unsupervised assessment of patient care needs and development, implementation and evaluation of plans of care, ensuring high standards of evidence‑based care.
  • Undertake all nursing procedures in accordance with Trust policies and ensure that these procedures and policies are understood and adhered to by all staff, within own management responsibility.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive nursing records are maintained using appropriate written and electronic documentation.
  • Monitor and record planned vs. actual staffing levels and escalates issues when necessary.
