Overview

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role at MATRIX BEHAVIOR SOLUTIONS, LLC. Onsite position with a competitive pay rate of $20-25 per hour. Matrix offers BHT with RBT training, flexible schedules, and opportunities for growth.

• Provide direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention to individuals aged 2 to 21 under supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC) and Assistant-Behavior Consultant (A-BC).
• Implement treatment plans in homes, schools, daycares, and community settings.
• Deliver interventions focused on social skills, life skills, and adaptive functioning; transfer skills to clients and caregivers.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance skills in behavioral health.
• Engage in direct client interaction, complete necessary daily paperwork, and submit weekly reports.
• Ensure compliance with IBHS regulations and MCO guidelines as outlined in Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP).

• Education/experience options:
  • Bachelor degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or criminal justice with no prior work experience; or
  • Bachelor degree in any field with at least 1 year of direct contact with children or adolescents; or
  • Associate degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of direct contact with children or adolescents; or
  • Licensed practical nurse with at least 3 years of direct contact with children or adolescents.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus a completed 40-hour RBT training, evidenced by a certification with the trainer’s name who is certified as a BCBA or BC-ABA.
• Driver's license required.

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of degree, and clearances to work with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances). Must participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must complete NSOR verification and hold an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
