SpecialtyOur highly experienced clinicians deliver the most up-to-date, comprehensive care in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. Join our team of collaborative, innovative critical care clinicians. The Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono ICU is a combined medical and surgical ICU with a total of 24 beds. We are experiencing exciting growth in our critical care division.
ResponsibilitiesThe Critical Care team at Lehigh Valley Hospital consists of two physicians and two APC providers and we are looking to add to this team. In a critical care ICU at LVH-Pocono, you will experience:
- 12 shifts per month of coverage.
- Typical shifts are 12 hours currently; however, the team is flexible and could consider 8- or 10-hour shifts.
- Providers typically work 3 or 4 days consecutively.
- Must be flexible for day vs night coverage.
- Providers will work day shifts initially and work closely with the physicians for training.
- Team works together to ensure even rotation of weekends and holidays.
- Providers can pick up additional shifts for moonlighting opportunities.
- Call is taken by physicians only.
- Providers will take part in procedures and should have familiarity but will be trained by the Lehigh Valley Physician team. These procedures may include:
- Central lines
- Arterial lines
- Dialysis lines
- Intubations
- Resident and Fellow Educational Stipends
- Health, dental, vision and 403(b) retirement savings
- Student loan support, Public Service Loan Forgiveness-eligible employer
- Malpractice insurance, medical license, DEA license, and others paid in full
- Reimbursement for continuing medical education and technology
- Relocation services (if applicable)
- Abridge Scribe Services
