Staff Auditor​/Tax Accountant

Base Pay Range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

• Plan and execute audit engagements (GAAP, GASB, FASB, GAAS) under the supervision of senior management.
• Prepare organized, concise work papers and annual DCED reports.
• Perform financial statement analysis and identify critical accounting or audit issues.
• Evaluate client internal controls and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of individual and business income tax returns.
• Communicate effectively with clients during fieldwork and throughout the year to maintain strong relationships.

• 2+ years of audit experience within a public accounting or CPA firm environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, GASB, FASB, and GAAS.
• Proven experience with income tax preparation (individual and business) and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with CCH Pro System fx and/or Lacerte is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Willingness to travel (limited) for local audit fieldwork.
