As a Security Officer – Overnight Patrol Full-Time in East Saint Louis, IL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine foot patrols, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, respond to concerns, and support day‑to‑day operations with a service‑first mindset.

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and maintain visitor and vehicle logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting actions taken and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate via radio and/or phone, and coordinate with site representatives and public agencies as directed.

• Security Experience ‑ 1 Years.
• 21 Years of Age.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs – preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet – preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
