The Cloud Support Engineer will play a key role within the Service Management team, supporting the organization’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud initiative. This position focuses on administering the AWS sandbox environment, establishing best practices, developing operational procedures, and training team members on effective cloud usage. The ideal candidate brings strong AWS operational expertise, scripting capabilities, and a solid technical foundation across Linux, Windows, and database environments.

• Administer, maintain, and enhance AWS sandbox environments for development and testing needs.
• Develop, document, and implement AWS best practices for environment configuration, sizing, administration, security, tagging, monitoring, and automation.
• Train Service Management team members on AWS tools, concepts, and operational procedures.
• Provide guidance to application developers on AWS-native development tools and workflows.
• Assist in developing scripts and automation to improve cloud operations and efficiency.
• Support AWS application development activities, including troubleshooting environment issues.
• Monitor cloud environments, identify issues or bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure cloud solutions follow governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Produce clear documentation, reference guides, and process materials for ongoing support and knowledge transfer.

• Advanced experience with AWS Operations (administration, provisioning, monitoring, configuration).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS application development and cloud‑native services.
• Strong scripting and automation skills for AWS (e.g., Python, Bash, Power Shell, AWS CLI).
• Technical background with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Solid understanding of databases, including basic SQL query skills.
