Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor, performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned. • Acts in accordance with the Browns University Health Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting of mirrors and glass, emptying trash containers, shining brass, stripping floors of old wax, renewing finish, cleaning screens, radiators, drinking fountains, and telephones.
• Ensures towel and toilet dispensers are filled as required.
• Maintains stairs, stairwells, and other areas clean and free of debris.
• Moves furniture, beds, and supplies as required.
• Picks up and disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Washes floors, sweeps and dusts gym floors, sprays and buffs floors as assigned.
• Assures wash tubs, sinks, and toilets are properly cleaned.
• Checks for fire hazards and reports problems or unusual circumstances immediately to supervision.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and area in neat, orderly condition.
• Observes all hospital policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety, and security.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• BASIC KNOWLEDGE
  :
  Requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• EXPERIENCE
  :
  Up to one month.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $25.31
