Description
As the Deposit Operations Specialist
, you will be responsible for processing transaction requests for customers, branch colleagues and internal colleagues.
- Performs advanced clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilizes methods, procedures and knowledge of the business unit's product(s) and application(s).
- Research routine customer, brand, or bank inquiries as appropriate.
- Determines the source of problems and works to resolve them accurately and within service level agreements.
- Will also utilize knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements to help minimize financial risk to Citizens and detailed knowledge of multiple systems to solve problems.
- May need to work independently on special projects often interaction with all levels of management, serving as a resource for the business unit.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, cross train within the department and assume additional responsibilities as requested by management.
- The position may include reporting responsibilities and may assume department administrative duties as needed.
- Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience to complete repetitive tasks in an accurate and timely manner along with proven process improvement skill set in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to plan & prioritize daily responsibilities with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possesses the ability and demonstrated past success in being coachable with a can‑do positive attitude
- Beginner to intermediate in Microsoft (MS) Office tools including Outlook, Excel, & Word
- Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of work experience, preferably bank related work experience
- Demonstrated job stability
- Completed Associate’s degree is preferred
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule:
8:30 AM-5:00 PM ET
- Monday - Friday, with required OT (overtime) as needed M-F- Upon being fully trained onsite, the role will be 4 days onsite/1 day remote
