Overview
Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is seeking several Diesel Mechanics / Fleet Technician A's at our Martin Brower facility in East Point, GA
.
Shift options: Tues-Sat 10:30am-7:00pm;
Sun-Thurs 3:00pm-11:30pm.
Pay: $35.00 - $41.00/hr, Based on experience/qualifications.
Position Responsibilities- The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems.
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online Asset Works system.
- Operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls.
- Ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy".
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or Xata Net) and/or cameras (Drive Cam).
- Work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3+ years of related experience.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.
Education and Experience
- Technical School Certification.
