Monday - Friday 12 PM – 5 PM (Part Time)
Returns is responsible for solving any potential issues that may arise during the return process, such as proper return code assignment, handling errors that lead to merchandise returns, and communicating root causes of errors to Home Stores and HS Distribution Centers to support a sustainable and error‑free process. This role presents return results and research findings to Senior Managers, re consolidates systems to ensure correct designation codes, disposes and allocates returned items properly, and gathers information from customers to improve the customer experience while supporting Customer Service functions.
Responsibilities- Track and compile return data to identify areas of concern and possible root causes.
- Physically observe and inspect items returned after delivery to ensure proper return coding.
- Gather information from customers about potential reasons for merchandise returns.
- Resolve any potential issues that may arise during the return process.
- Clear out the systems to make items ready for the billing department.
- Properly identify products by item number.
- Accurately determine return scores.
- Address driver issues regarding load out, such as pieces missing, missing hardware, cross‑dock items, and returned items.
- Communicate with customers as needed to gather additional data and perform customer service functions.
- Report findings to the immediate supervisor to correct errors and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
